The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 成熟工业标准生产的垃圾，好活，但有点烂。致敬小津就拘泥于俯拍镜头真是买椟还珠，致敬原节子管人家叫桂圆子你开心就好。小津最美是尽在不言中，原节子最美在show not tell。学学，真的。（suda好灵）
爷孙二人摘掉了口罩，回到了疫情前那段美好的时光，片尾火车离去的片段，离开的不是爸爸，是“原节子”。

山田洋次的电影色调总有一种温暖的主题，虽然底色都是一样。我想说小伎俩是管用的，电影之神也会用小伎俩。
茨维格是个天才。不太明白最后一段精神病院的情节有何深意，似乎是画蛇添足。
导演一贯的风格，平淡有温情。北川景子好漂亮。
只为坚守职业操守。
“唯精神坚不可摧”，有着这样信念的茨威格同年也自尽了……
感觉跟着老头一样的人多了去了吧，到最后才醒悟，来得及么？北川景子真漂亮啊！
电影里的老师小津安二郎已经逝去，电影结尾的时候爱电影的人死在电影院里，电影院也在疫情里岌岌可危……影片外的电影行业真是让人伤感。
年轻的观影者们似乎忘记了电影里的主角是近80岁的人，他们的真实世界观价值观就是那样，人人都有自己的性格缺陷，也被其主宰着自己的命运，过着悲欣交集的人生啊，而且，他们有真正热爱一生的人与事，这是多么难得的。

突然想到，本片作为松竹百年纪念，山田洋次片中想要对抗的陈腐的电影制度不就是松竹自己么……
如果不是本来的主演男主爷爷因为疫情去世，可能片子质量要好很多。感情分加上北影节最后一场欢快的观影气氛值得多打一分，电影里面网站主页令人泪目
