The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? Those witches' scenes are the best
科恩重演莎翁，在多版本的《麦克白》改编中，能否排得到前列恐怕还是打个问号。但是影片在风格化和形式感上确实做得十分出彩，精美的黑白影调干净、简洁、漂亮，渐进地模糊了戏剧与电影的界限，视觉享受直接拉满。
总的来说，该片舞台剧不像舞台剧，电影不像电影。

复古的画幅，极简而考究的布景，舞台剧的形式，整体情节虽简约，但对于单个场景的设计却很有创意与深意，达到了叙事与拍摄风格的统一与呼应。
大科恩的改编剧本太保守了，戏剧舞台和电影结合，台词几乎莎翁原版，剧情也好像没什么变化。还是现代改编老作品的一贯视角，所谓结构经典神话勾连现代人们的精神困境，这点倒不是乔伊斯的意识流味儿而是偏精神分析各种符号的生添硬加。
甜蜜的黑白光影，极简的舞台剧布景，单朝着视觉风格化而来不会失望。
没看过其他版本的，至少这个版本我看着质感非常不错，相当震撼。
我本来是去看电影的。当我在电影院被折磨得死去活来时，才意识到自己被黑了。
然后...是我格局不够…
虽然我不懂科恩兄弟这种风格，但仍然大受震撼
這份典型很努力做但分數不高的功課，原因是教授們見過世面目睹過其他更好的Macbeth

4:3黑白近距人像的复古模式，反而让这种舞台剧更增添了些许魔幻感，故事平淡，名角加持还不算难看
风格有点过于混搭了，又还是somehow make sense
演员们的演技令我叹为观止。
