The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 我们可以看到人类最大的善意闪光的同时也能不逃避自私与阴暗面，但是总是向善的。不回避创伤与痛苦的作品才是真正伟大的！这是一部没有任何理解壁垒的片子!太棒了
个别价值观或体验和我们确有不同，但仅就这部音乐剧作品本身来说，是一部优秀的作品。
没有停顿、甚至没有转场，几把椅子，几件衣服，仅凭借着灯光，十几个演员一人分饰多角，演出了一万人的故事。
节奏很好，角色塑造得也很好，设定很巧，能这么有趣确实意料之外，没打五星是因为旋律没戳中我，个人喜好。。。
艺术来源于生活，真实的生活真实的故事最为动人。
用巨大的、超越种族的爱与温暖包裹住了悲伤，被命运安排的这5天必将永刻于心中。演员的发挥、舞台的调度与音乐的配合堪称完美。原来这就是百老汇啊！
不错！但感觉有点太像纪录片，卡司换角太快，一开始没能反应过来。
热血沸腾，哽咽多次，无论这个世界有多么糟糕，还有音乐，真是件幸运的事。表白女机长！

Very Canadian. Very lovable. 真好，真治愈。
人类永远的命运共同体。爱与包容是黑暗中的光明会指引我们到底新的彼岸。疫情之后再看感受更深，我相信人性的善与美好会驱散心中的恶与隐瞒，这不就是人性之光嘛。
在911二十周年之际、疫情之后的今天看这次官摄比第一次旁观者的视角更能感同身受。第一首歌开始就想哭，焦虑、无助恐惧和不安到被治愈，全程跟唱的Me and the Sky，还是好喜欢CFA。遗憾2020年因为疫情没办法成行的巡演，still “honor what was lost，but we also commemorate what we found”。
