The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 太真实了～熟悉的取景地、对着字幕能听懂的潮汕话、而且一张整容脸都没有，人物刻画很到位～必须五星推荐

虽然是杜撰，但比较真实，尤其演妈妈的朴素角色给全剧添不少彩

熟悉的好多地方以及场景，人文。故事还好，除了演技较差，其他相比之前的潮语电影都有进步。

还不错的小成本故事片，有用心好好讲一个故事，对国产片来说，这就很难得了，并且地方语言——潮汕语和潮汕语歌曲的运用也是加分项。
第一次看自己家乡方言的院线电影，并没有预想中“土”的尴尬，片中大量细节的刻画和本地人才get得到的梗，让我这位离家半年的游子感到十分地亲切。

女主称托得更好一些，有坚强，也有弱的部分。
有点感人但不多。这个剧情的模板很熟悉，把矛盾架在潮汕文化习俗中很巧妙（当然也确实是源于创作者的真实背景）。而越南电影《再见妈妈》则是把类似套路用在了LGBT的出柜矛盾中。

男女主演技太灾难了，很难不让人出戏，部分台词也过于刻意，全片cp感最好的竟然是男主的父母
真实的细节使得观片过程轻松愉快，演员都没有什么名气，但贵在生动自然
