The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 黑白美学真的太抢戏了，以至于听不懂的台词和蹩脚的剧情都不是事儿了。艺术片的品质，但是演员表演真的就还好，尤其嫂子真的没什么发挥空间。
今年的最佳构图，高对比黑白配上舞台剧式的布景着实惊艳，有几处外景像在致敬《第七封印》。丹泽尔和科恩嫂几近癫狂的演技也有很大的震撼力。唯一不足就是剧本，全片古英语对白虽是忠于原著但用现代口吻来表达不容易理解

戳爷很适合这种清醒的小甜剧，虽然题材很严肃，但拍出了夏天暑假的感觉。
色调镜头都挺喜欢的，可能是有戳戳的加成在里面吧
太阳星辰、睡眠死亡、天堂地狱，大量天空的描写让人与环境的对抗显得如此无力。4：3画幅，大量固定镜头，经典电影技法拍经典文学，表演和台词还是舞台剧式的。人物刻画薄弱，还好女巫的恐怖感渲染出色。极简的线条和布光，几段establishing shot很惊艳。同是科恩和黑泽明的脑残粉，还是更喜欢六十年前的蜘蛛巢城。
7.4/两对黑白表兄弟间的厮杀与帮助不免让人感到过于刻意而为之…
虽然充满话剧感的莎剧确实让人犯困，但绝妙的黑白光影，冷峻简洁的建筑美学和两位主演神经质的表演又令人看的心旷神怡。
最近看的唯一一部青春片，我是颜控，爱了。

不用再改编麦克白了吧，《蜘蛛巢城》之后，不管后来的导演们选择什么样的风格，什么样的改编切入点，在这座大山面前，都显得没多大意思了。对于这版极简舞台剧的风格，打光是最大亮点，也是它在电影化上最成功的地方。
