全片没有台词只有声效推进，从洞口不断下探687米。随着勘探的终结，老人的生命也走到了尽头，是电影语言的比兴，是诗意。
没有所谓剧情，有的是不断演进的事件，关乎事物的存在与状态。身为岩友，我看得心潮澎湃，因为这是一种逆向的攀登。向下，再向下，到达底部的时候就是到达顶峰，而到达底部或顶峰无关征服的豪迈，只意味着一个身体参与其中的事件的圆满结束。

作为一个电影作品来说真的问题挺多的，作为一个传记来说也是有很多问题的。但是这个题材内容是值得关注的。演员表现特别好。
