The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 虽然……但是……作为国产恐怖片，能拍成这样，还是值得支持一下的吧!
另外女主的打戏无论是表现还是设计都很干净，这点还是不错的。
开头和结尾的打斗很棒。

比上部有进步，不是赤裸裸的水怪，加入了推理、悬疑的元素，揭露的真相与人性结合起来。水猴子这种生物存在吗？没见过，代代相传，尤其是小孩要下河游泳，大人便讲这套故事。很多南方水乡出来的孩子不会游泳，水猴子的故事起了些作用。
一个接一个的人的死去村民就这反应？
披着恐怖片的皮，其实是禁毒亲情片。
场景设置真不错，与世隔绝的小镇，树林加水域，女主几个口红颜色都挺好看，也有韵味，剧情略生硬
个人感觉这部影片是能够看完之后会让人有感触的一部惊悚悬疑片。
打斗场面依旧精彩，热血青春看得确实让人热血沸腾，动画表现依旧十分不错，可惜碰上了个夹带私货的无良作者。
相较于水怪1，这个水怪2还是很有看头的，至少悬疑的部分的确有些吸引人。

女主演技不错，布景简陋了点，小怪物也挺惨。

要不是车祸，男主连一个抱着箱子的小偷都抓不住。 这剧情厉害，顶级战力带着其他学生去找炸弹、帮路人撤退；三个学生去敌人老巢打群架。 男主为啥不先打掉墙上激光枪，本来爬起来都难，结果爆发还打赢了敌人的反弹？ 最后那爆发很像一拳超人，打得那么艰难最后一个敌人都没打死全部抓去监狱了。
