The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 人类永远的命运共同体。爱与包容是黑暗中的光明会指引我们到底新的彼岸。疫情之后再看感受更深，我相信人性的善与美好会驱散心中的恶与隐瞒，这不就是人性之光嘛。
机长原型说她看了这部戏101次，它没有让人沉溺在悲伤里喘不过气。自始至终靠的是人性本身的脆弱、敏感、真实和温暖在打动观众。911过去了二十年，但人类还是有点希望的，不是吗？
真是以小见大的好作品！用纽芬兰小岛上的温情和爱来对抗人类历史上最具毁灭性的恶性事件，非常令人感动！对迫降事件后，社区各个层面的反应刻画得也非常还原。考拉唱得真好！

还只看过饭拍版。制作很精良，也能煽动我流泪，但其实我不能完全共情，事件离我太遥远了。

好看，音乐和故事层层递进。从纽芬兰的角度讲述了911事件的过程。整部秀当中不乏突兀政治正确之处，但还是从整个应急事件中看到对人的尊重。

12人抛开政治不谈，那种音乐带来的直接感受的激情！还是能让我们感受到作为普通人的感动！音乐剧给人很直接的感受！
它对这件事的表达不伤、不煽，也不那么戏剧，反而是贴近日常生活的平实温和。

换一个角度纪念那场灾难
作为音乐剧倒是没有给我印象特别深的歌曲（机长姐姐的Me and the sky好听！），剧情也比较一般，主要是当年的真实事件很令人感动。在灾难面前，人们确实没办法忍受一直看新闻，而是会想在自己有资源的时候互相帮助，这是不分种族性向甚至动物权益的（穆斯林在那之后确实备受影响）。

最感人的永远是陌生人的善意，最动人的永远是旅途中的意外。
