The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 一家都挂你电话HH 在越南一屋子人候着 都能硬战，到韩国才来3个警察 就吓跑了？韩国车道掉头这么容易？反派干了这么多票还这么穷逼叨叨的样子也是挺创业失败的啊。看马东锡过肩摔轻松地感觉自己也可以了 HH 为什么会觉得反派帅？get不到啊这么凶残的人。“我们五五分。谁拿五。……”HH 做警察真得练好技能不然分分钟出事啊
近期难得的爽片，看马东西打架莫名有些上头。只是“开车送钱”和“公交决战”这两段，拍的实在掉价。
四星：看老马凭实力碾压极恶份子就是爽啊，“我是哈尔滨张谦”，原来只是呼应第一部的梗，还以为是本尊转生呢
故事的逻辑还是有点牵强，主线不是很明显。反派有点太无脑了。好在马东锡的身手还是耐看，而且后半段追凶戏的氛围还是挺不错的。

没看过1直接看的2，感觉挺有意思的，神马东西就是神，战神，警局内部的气氛，人物也很讨喜，这一部感觉小幽默也很多，很适合周末放松解压
鸟为食亡的宿命使得极端暴匪不能断臂求生，最终在影片后段被马副班长一伙围在笼中。遗憾的是，崔智白雇佣的队伍给人带来的集团式犯罪和幕后操纵错觉的出场，最终还是变成极端个案离场。大韩警官诙谐暴力，粗中带细，隐忍痛击，锄暴安良，快意恩仇。第一部捍卫韩国主场，第二部远征越南。合着韩国也拿民族主意赚钱卫国。第一部中国朝鲜族是首尔社会问题，第二部韩国黑帮成为胡志明市社会不稳定因素，还杀抢本国越南游客。哈尔滨张晨到哈尔滨张谦，不到5年（2004-2008）中国人从反派主角滑落到边角秒端盒饭杀手。聪明人可能都借着改开和法改春风出口转内销去做合法生意了。张夷帅这个名儿，挺合身的。
没看过1，直接被拖来看了2。马叔在釜山行时就挺喜欢的，这个熊警察角色挺适合他，粗中有细还有萌感。片子节奏很不错，8+2人室内混战那段尤其优秀，悍匪的凶残与马叔的重锤相得益彰，豪无尿点。建议这IP好好运作一下整个多集系列。看网上有人说马叔被称为“韩国最后一个男人”，然而查资料显示马叔现在是美籍，so四舍五入是不是表示韩国没男人了哈哈哈？
不管黑道白道的好男儿（除了BOSS），面对庞然大物马东锡都有种妾侍心态，自觉得变得又乖又萌，这点确实是男人社会的特点。

魅力来自于有性格的反派，打的很爽，如果能来更多脑力的对决更好
反派够狠，单眼皮的孙锡久，印象深刻。

一般吧，前面半个小时还行，后面的节奏越来越平，什么走向都可以猜到了，最后半个小时更是只想把电影看完算了，机械的看着马锡东挥动拳头。
已经不知道多少年没有一天一片刷二遍了，除去本片优秀之外，也确实因为对看好电影的渴望而至的吧。还是更喜欢第一部，还是更喜欢张谦一点点，虽然孙锡久确实很有型。终于知道为啥喜欢看胖胖的神马东锡的动作片了，他真的好萌啊
果然第二部一般都是狗尾续貂，知道你想拍韩国警察故事，可你自己看看你拍的是个啥？砸牌子啊真的是。跟唐探3给我的感觉差不多。
马东锡打得太好看了，压倒性的力量感和速度感，怪不得他的打戏不算太多：一出场，三拳之内对方脑壳就凹了，肉体的碾压式优势。多亏他，看孙锡久杀银看得瑟瑟发抖，他一上来气氛立刻“哈哈哈哈哈”起来。
突破了本土语境的故事线，尝试文化的扩张。喜感较比上一部略显寡淡，但动作足够矫健的小胖马东锡没有掉链。足够解恨解气的商业片，很适合郁闷无聊的人们观看。
我还是觉得第一部更猛。。不过都算不错了。。总感觉最后打的还不够。。应该再狠一点
