The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 这确实是真实现实接地气的“同性爱情（这四个字可以随意排列组合）”故事，不管是在美国还是东亚。有时候真的觉得那些被封为经典的同性片中的同性形象只是迎合部分女观众，现实中很多同也许就是本片中的样子，有欢乐有烦恼有性有爱但愁苦相对来说少一点。
I love adventure/survival films. This film caught the very spirit of the challenge and both main characters portrayed the conflicting emotions and expectations of the experience brrilliantly.
