The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 巴瑞·莱文森带着教科书般的发挥归来，一部没有任何废话的传记片，扎实又流畅。即便剧本脉络较为常规，但这样的完成度着实令人景仰。道格拉斯·克莱斯利用光线和声音的变化作为剪辑点，无法忽视的突出。本·福斯特优秀到，如果明年初奥斯卡男主提名没有他，那就是整个学院的奇耻大辱。

个人观感倒还不错的动画电影。不过看片过程中还是情不自禁地想：既然将人类的摔跤运动转换到怪兽身上，那某些场景
黑白和彩色两个时代的交错，男主体型和眼神的变化，映衬了残酷的故事和活下来的勇气，生存本就是无常且充满意外的旅程，活着的讲故事，没活的变成故事。男主+1星
还是老一套的剧本，只是把摔角人物怪兽化，毫无新意。只适合在周末凑合看看。
题材和剧情都很俗套，无聊的时候还是可以看的
同年有另一部相同题材的片子《冠军》，一样是讲述奥斯维辛集中营的波兰拳击冠军的故事，要比这部好的太多，一比较以至于这部越看越无聊
剧情实在是太过简单可猜，继续盼望迪士尼的新片子吧
