The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 打斗确实做得蛮漂亮，文本弱是国产通病了，还是值得一看的。
我想了想，还是只能给三星，这不是贬低。它的武打可以给四星，文戏要抠一星，所以只能给三星。你不得不佩服的是，它100分钟长，打了至少80分钟，这80分钟还没什么重复的，这确实很厉害。——有时候就是这样旱的旱死涝的涝死，强烈建议把动作设计送给雪中剧组，救一救那个尬。
大中华区的青春时代记忆。一些文化冲突元素下也没觉得女孩本人多“美国”，爸爸整天：别提、别说、别想和女孩对妈妈生病的回避，都令人窒息。一句我也活不久了就代表不愿好好活吗…
画风好，重打斗场面，剧情弱，剧情推动太生硬

比剧版完成度更高，情节更熨帖，打戏也更精彩。但仍难逃剧版俗套、矫情的窠臼。如果能找一个靠谱的编剧就完美了。
处女作不错看，但剧本的细节还是太戏剧化了，全家都不好好说话，就连吵架都吵不起来，无力感充斥着所有本该带动情绪的地方。演员都不错，林嘉欣很好，妹妹好可爱。
台词和打斗很好，剧情很差，反派的理想莫名其妙，江渊的转变也莫名其妙。

（第一季两个配角的过去。剧情是挺传统的明末背景武打片剧情。打斗真是精彩。）
武戏很认真，文戏全为引出武戏，故事也就无所谓了。画面渲染总感觉有边线断裂的不连续感。结尾音乐还以为是“星之所在”，囧。
