The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 换一个角度纪念那场灾难
第一看这种类型的音乐剧，没有经典音乐剧耳熟能详、令人心潮澎湃的唱段，也没有《汉密尔顿》《Six》那样流行得抓耳又抓眼，扣准现代大众审美，相比之下它的故事铺开得有点平淡写实，但这样的节奏和画面又并不无趣。
确实太适合后疫情看了，尤其2020年初的时候。然而疫情这场灾难已经转向了无人知晓的地方，以后谁会来写2022这部音乐剧呢
音乐剧真的太有感染力了，每个演员的吐字都很清晰，声音都很有穿透力。最惊喜的是舞台的走位和场景转换，太有趣了，尤其是gay couple和new couple交叉站立相互对话那段太妙了。每首歌都超级棒！而且每个演员都一人饰多角，新角色虽然只是穿了个马甲就整个状态都不一样了，好厉害！群戏太牛了，感觉可以关注点放在每一个演员身上然后跟着每个人都看一遍。总之整个音乐剧就是超棒，很希望有机会可以去看现场版！
形式太有意思了，音乐剧真的拥有无限张力，安慰生活在2020年以后的我，那首Prayer太震撼了，Me and the sky机长好帅气。
