The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 情节之间僵硬脱节，不是很好的剧作。老牛仔的暮年哀伤，我相信东木自己是接受时代和岁月变迁的，但是对于一个几乎将自己2/3人生都贡献给电影的人多少还是能看出他的不甘心和不消停（褒义）。希望老爷子长命百岁，我认为对于东木的最好结局是逝于片场吧。
东木爷爷以90高龄再次自导自演，令人敬佩！影片充满了慈爱，所有戾气都已被岁月埋藏。
东木老爷子帅了一辈子，现在已经91岁高龄了，只要还能继续拍电影我就心满意足了，何必苛求年轻时的质量呢
一部温情的西部片，故事简单温和，伍德老爷子一把年纪还这么高产，劳模啊！和小朋友成了忘年交，一路很欢快。

二十分钟后我在电影院睡着，一个小时后思考再三中途退场。是的我可以看路边野餐和大象津津有味却觉得这部干瘪无聊浪费生命，每一句台词说出来都让人想嘘，男主似乎已经动弹不得难当此任并且把电影节奏拖累得和他的脚步一样缓慢而衰颓。
东木大爷精神上依旧是那个老派的牛仔，但身体明显跟不上了。

故事比较平淡，缓慢，老爷子90多还挺硬朗，女人见了都为之着迷，他也只想搂着女人跳跳舞。
三星给老爷子的身体，希望他活过百岁，但别再辛辛苦苦拍片了。
