The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 这个故事真的不论看了哪个版本，都会流泪感动啊。
看了本片再对比真实事件，这位编剧的水平是真厉害。黑人男主演和白人谈判专家演得都好。4星水平。北电的导演和编剧专业学生和老师应该观摩此片。冷门佳片，居然在豆瓣这么低的分。

现实远比电影悲凉，这样牺牲了，诉求也是在10年后才达成
还是太仁慈，杀几个人质也许还有机会逃出生天
其实改编的不错，虽然三个人人物设计有所重合，但是整体上各个人以及各个人的角色产生了一定的平衡，只有平衡才能让事件情节完整地推进下去并使得屏幕里的这场劫持让人相信。
