A brilliant and outragously funny satire of society, 7 December 1999

"Flodder" is one of the funniest movies ever made and few people realise that it is a Dutch movie made by none other than the Holland version of John Carpenter, the famous Dick Maas, author and director of the thriller "Amsterdamned". The Flodder family is the reincarnation of the term a-social. When the whole family bunch, basically all bastards, criminals and sluts must be relocated from their City slum because of toxic waste under their house, the city council house no choice. The only available space is in the "Zoendal" - the "Sun Valley" the best area in Amsterdam where all doctors, snobs and businessmen can afford to live their lives. And where the central point of interest and politics is the tennis club of the community. The Flodder family brings devastation to the tranquil world that ruled before. They are simply unbelievable. The characterisation is incredibly funny, beginning with Ma Flodder who searches other people's trash cans for food or making illegal liquor in her cellar and ending with the eldest daughter who is the biggest slut on earth. Together they make the most horrible family imaginable, a sort of immoral mirror image to the Brady Bunch or the Waltons. When the City counsel of Amsterdam hoped that the Flodders would show their good will to be more civilised in their new area, it turns out that Holland's most famous family would rather bring out the worst in the rich people of "Sun Valley"-wonderland. The rest is a hilarious, brilliant and well made social satire that can be watched as a provocative movie as well as a straightforward comedy. Dick Maas at his best. I salute him! Flooder was the Dutch smash hit in 1986 and brought two sequels and a tv series. All of the sequels were nice but not as great as the original.

Why is First Floor Features, the producer of the movie not bringing the Dick Maas blockbusters out on DVD in the Netherlands, I wonder. The are not even available on video there. These movies have so much potential, still to this day and have a huge silent but true following.

17 JUN 2021 (4-) 戲名+架純妹應該趕走唔少art house寶寶，兩粒鐘故仔橫跨2015-2020，戀人由偶遇、熱戀、共居、冷漠、裂痕、分手、重遇，貌似一般過唔一般的愛情片套路，但人家贏就贏左zoom到埋去大學(理想)到社會(現實)呢個gap度，再contextualize落去個文青脈絡深而化之。最好睇唔係佢地點樣miss左牯嶺街同男的睇郭利斯馬基訓左，而係果D小處細節流出黎，滾雪球咁越滾越大的失望︰慳錢只能飲7-11咖啡、對曾經常去的麵包店關門無感、見到你愛人去書店放棄左文學而走去睇self-help book。以大眾愛情片的劇本計，真係做到軟綿綿淚漣漣，值得參詳的地方無數。P.S. 有瀧內公美。望住架純妹，一念︰點解香港D女文青唔係金絲白面就係營養不良？
太喜欢结局的处理方式了，跟每一个角色和每一台eva说再见，然后动画逐渐变成线稿，最后变为现实，无比天才！这是庵野秀明为观众献上的，对过去和整个宏大作品的深情告别。当片尾第二首歌：Beautiful world响起，记忆不止回到十年前看第一部新剧场版的时刻，更回到了近二十年前第一次看到福音战士tv版的时刻。漫长的时光最后定格在“剧终”，我们都长大了。

分手那段看得我喘不过气心脏疼，如何才能守护好那些看似飘渺虚无的爱与美好？现实生活远比电影中展现得还要残酷。我始终不明白的是，为什么不可以一边赚钱，一边一直保持学生时代的生活和恋爱状态呢？
庵野秀明用这部转向日常生活的电影传递了一则与现实生活息息相关的信息——不要因为过去的遗憾而感到挫败，将自己的心封闭起来以逃避现实；每个人都得学会带着遗憾生活，在接受遗憾的过程中成长，这样才能有勇气继续与他人相识、结合并得到补完。这是“成（为）人”的必经之路，对成人或孩子都是如此。就是这条简单的信息让我爱EVA这个系列胜过其它许多文本更深刻的艺术片，因为它真正关照了现代生活中如此普遍却又被大部分人藏在心底的问题，还鼓舞了不知多少人在无止境的挫败后继续做出下一次尝试。未来还会有许多优秀的动漫出现，但我不确定它们中有多少能像EVA一样带给我这样切身的感触，毕竟许多作品只有在恰好的时间点遇见才能让人难以忘怀。可即使仅此一次，我也能高兴地说我算体会过动漫那难以言说的魅力了。
想看：2012-01-02。 やっと終わったな。再给庵野至少半年，他应该能做得更完整……所有的角色都happy ending，至少在他们的人生中
在鹿儿岛看imax真开心，宇多田光的歌真好听。
就，哦，结束了？好的。确实对这个系列没啥感情其实，日本此类动漫确实都有特别共性的毛病，符号就是符号，卖弄就是卖弄，其实故事非常简单，却一定要在一个青少年身上加之各种主题和看似深入的人性剖析，但是对于碇真嗣这个角色，TV版，旧剧场版到新系列都依然让人讨厌，完全不想看他的成长，而那些中二的造神弑神啥的，还是一样的空洞乏味，有的作品晦涩难懂是因为创作者的思维方式高于常人，而EVA则更多是在掉书袋，用一个动漫作品的规格展现导演的知识储备，然后提炼出来也就那样的东西，真的没啥意思。还是更爱押井守一点。
25年，四分之一个世纪过去了，庵野秀明为EVA写下了另一个结局
EVA看着我的人生走过了快30年的时间，此刻它终于要和我永别了，我真的要跟庵野秀明深深地鞠一躬，郑重地说上一句谢谢。这些年里，EVA就像父母之外的第三个陪伴者，甚至在我最困窘的今天，它用最温柔的方式给了我最后的教导，谢谢你，我会做一个好的大人。
再见了，所有的EVA
我看完了，好牛逼，直到30min前我还想爹怎么老赢，爹怎么又赢了，爹是ccp吗搞那么多破事死那么多人，自己脑浆爆裂还说赢。
其实对非tv党来说很友好，或者说不提所谓滤镜和情怀，这版反而是入坑整个系列的最优选择。弱化了大量隐喻和意向，较为通俗易懂地讲了个哪怕不看分析也至少人人都能看懂的故事。将近三十年过去， 庵野秀明给出的依旧是“和解”的答案。
其实这个结尾能在2020年上映后接东京奥运会还蛮好的？很好奇宅文化研究者们对这部的分析（我的几点好奇：阿宅们会不会有一种被抛弃的感觉？这个亚文化向往的是不是保守主义？讨人厌的平成过去了，令和真的会是昭和的翻版吗？）。我看个爽就完事了。
