The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 有点林肯律师游走黑白之间的意思，律师这个职业最适合拍灰色地带，跟卧底一样，好与坏完全看个人品质。
劇情設計單薄歸單薄，但也拍出了一些動人之處，智叔和曾江遊艇對戲，借戲劇衝突爆出「黃台之瓜，何堪再摘」的潛台詞，另一邊廂，方與譚二人的銅鑼灣電車對話，狐狸與狐狸的交談，展示香港律師動物性的一面，市儈又機智，對公義和利益在乎又不在乎。結尾大律師公會以至高點的身份審判角色行為，猶記得那些年的黑衣遊行，某法降臨時的正面回擊，幾十年文明開化演變出的法治系統化身，身處其中的人怎能不心有戚戚
一开始会觉得非常杂乱，看到最后觉得可以，想回去找找线索，重看的念头又会让自己很痛苦。就是这样的一部电影。玩概念玩得挺好，但是这样拍也相当危险，任务完成得也算是可以，剪辑未免显得杂乱。男主演技可以。
这种“我死了但我以为我还活着”概念的电影一抓一大把，但太好猜到的话就一点意思都没有了，可参考小岛惊魂，灵异第六感的结局反转……22.02.26

这个系列第一集比较好看，后面全裸日常化，就没啥感觉了。本来只是喜剧黑道片，最后直接整魔幻了
