The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 越到后期越乏力，三张假钞（鸠）串联起整个混乱的故事，渲染过多的仓田健太郎也不是啥多变态的黑老大，后面的拍手情节与咖啡馆拍手call back（源自彼得潘一书），感到一股伊坂味。总之，看到乏力。
这个小电影里的角色已经是今年看过的商片里最丰富的了… Alessandro Nivola很不错
拍成这样也能看出作家的实力，但是编剧导演实在太忽略细节了，既没有满足类型片的期待，又没有拍出文艺片的风格，观众连主题一不小心都会弄丢

三星半，不像前傳的「前傳」。視覺是懷舊的，語境是現代的，但時代元素、借古鑑今的連結度實在弱。關於Tony是怎樣煉成的，亦只是蜻蜓點水。本片最大的作用，可能就是叫觀眾再看一次昔日神劇。

感觉拍的很细腻，但是节奏较慢，主角选的一般。
交代的有些散乱，黑道家族的前传。很想再看一遍黑道家族，喜欢六七十年代的电影画面。（2021/12/23 zl7day）
无非就是家族仇恨，你弄我我弄你的套路，战线拉太长了，剪短一点节奏快点更有意思。
