【NYFF59】迄今最佳，好久没有看过这么欢笑和泪水俱备的电影了。剧本真的太好了，小细节和情绪的推动做得淋漓尽致，小演员和凤凰的表演也超棒，昨天看完lost daughter被打击的婚育心理今天被狠狠治愈了。映前mike mills上来说自己在纽约长大所以在这里首映像给父母展示一样，我看完想说your parents would be proud of u.
1，好想生一个怪小孩。2，It’s ok to say I’m not fine，This is fucked up and that makes sense！3，好想买一支录音笔！
哇，又是一部我的年度黑马影片。这小男孩演的那么好，不多奖励几颗糖！?
论我们大部分人的认知和独立思考的能力，你可能都不如米国一个7.8岁的孩子。
看似平淡但却无比真挚的叔侄感情，黑白色调选的太好了，纪录片导演受到姐姐的委托照顾自己的儿子，叔侄在相处中不断破冰，叔叔告诉了侄子他和孩子姐姐关系看似不好的原因，以及孩子父亲的挣扎，最令人动容的时刻莫过于小孩要被送回家向叔叔道歉，和母亲来接他的不舍。影片还引入了许多问题，而儿童的回答却很有深度，令人深思儿童的视角，太喜欢小男主了。

平淡隽永的鸡汤散文，几乎全靠台词撑场，弱情节而重情绪。一层纪录片形式的采访片段，聆听孩子们口中对未来的设想、抒发他们那个年龄段独到有趣的认知和观点。一层公路片性质的生活流片段，洛杉矶-纽约-新奥尔良，辗转于东西南北，镜头捕捉不同城市的风貌，漫步街头抑或床榻谈心，透过叔侄相处的琐碎日常，展现小孩与成年人思考及情感表达方式的差异，从陌生到熟络，分歧到默契，两人关系的逐渐升温也指向了真诚平等交流的重要性，在这场代替父母职能的“亲子教育”中，Johnny得以重新审视自我，三组矛盾（叔侄/母子/兄妹）最终也都迎来早已预见的和解。美国各大独立电影节盛产的那类文艺片，影评人们应该很吃这一套，普通观众对这部电影的感受和体验则完全取决于能否融入共情，but …not my type。此外，黑白的必要性有待商榷
It just reminds me again how much I love Mike Miles. Time and space and emotions are real in his films.
又一部以城市为背景板的聊天电影，叔叔与外甥的对话很舒服，“你一直在录音，那些噪音一直在冲刷着你的心，即使你以后会忘记所有事情，我也会提醒你”两个人在聊天与交往中互相成长，真好啊
轻柔、细腻的触感中生出一丝余韵，但也就仅此而已了，深沉的黑白影调也掩盖不了内核的空洞乏味。
杰昆变华金，搞得我差点不知道还蛮喜欢的男演员出新片了
喜欢导演关于父母子女的很多观点，导演也是个温柔的人啊。并get了其中一篇关于母亲的论文或书。采访孩子的段落应该都是真实的吧，孩子们的表达很纯真深刻。对比那个时候的自己简直是个SB，当然现在也是。

啊……这片子有点无聊……em，要不是因为最后的采访独白，真的感觉毫无可取之处……小男孩初看贼帅，声音也好听，但是听多了真的有点腻了……长腿大🐻尖脸真的只能玩玩，结婚真是不合适。这样，就会后悔。哈哈哈
这几年观影量大减, 好像都不是以前的自己了; 这算是 2021 个人最喜欢吧, 简直像找回了当时在 Alice Tully Hall 被 Her 镇住的时光; Oh, to have an uncle like Joaquin. ❤️
P.S.纽约很适合黑白，加州就还是算了吧。
