The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 不太了解美国这一段历史，观影过程略枯涩了一点，但结尾小雀斑庭审的那段戏还是很燃的！对比此时此刻的灯塔国，感觉导演有意无意还是借古喻今有一些讽刺的味道，不过反战的思想无论何时还是值得肯定的。
这是典型的好莱坞年度左翼电影。这几年几乎每年都有这样一部左翼政治理念的电影，例如聚焦、华盛顿邮报。拍摄手法都是纪实冷峻、都是大牌云集，明显不为了票房就冲着各类奖项的政治宣言，像是一个每年必做的功课。
信息量极大。现在看来，过去的辉煌岁月真的太牛逼了，无法复刻。
用了大量的蒙太奇使叙事有节奏和趣味性，每个人物的性格都很张扬，演员演得很好。政治意义大于故事本身吧。

剧本真的赞，好电影就该是多元多视角两方理由让观众觉得都有道理的。看似疯癫的嬉皮士其实聪明克制，循规蹈矩的好学生却是骚乱源头心机深。也就美国有这种庭审，要在某地。。。。

单纯来看，肯定算是网飞电影里水准比较强的电影，豪华卡司加上精湛演技，让全片看点十足。但是情感渲染上还是差了很多，在传记性的剧情片里算是比较一般的
