The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 这个色彩和设定太挑战人的生理极限了，但探讨的主题我非常喜欢。人类早晚要用身体去感知自己对环境犯下的罪行，并且失去之所以能被称为“人”的所谓主体性。故事的寓言感很强，就只是结束得实在过于仓促了，再一看这个时长，确实还是先天不足。
像是一场细腻而丰富的前戏之后，进行了一场味同嚼蜡且转瞬即逝的性生活，并且伴随着诡异的古典音乐。
视觉上很有意思，但是剧本上，我有点怀疑这玩意是不是真的个有完整的故事？

Hard to get in at first, but not long after you'll realize it's still the 90s classic body horror Cronenberg, which not just those weird biomechanic machines, but the conflict, rebellion, evolution, so on and so forth. It's definitely the most sexualized Cronenberg movie. Everyone in the film is so obnoxious, but ultra seductive, except the black dude. WTF is that acting? Is that a joke?

年度十佳。竟从若有若无的海浪声之中、仿佛因经历核战争而斑驳不已的墙壁之间看出了一种诗意。与去年的金棕榈影片《钛》形成奇妙的互文：本片讲技术驾驭人，从未来审视现在；《钛》讲人借技术以改变社会关系，以现在畅想未来；两者都以body horror为表现形式。或许《钛》的未来就是《未来罪行》，有一天，当人类不再处于进化的中心，我也绝不会惊讶。好想在大银幕上看。

跟柯南伯格上世纪那一系列表现身体乃止精神异化的惊悚片相比还是有较大的差距，跟电影讨论的身体内外一样，就电影来说，电影的内在并没有像录影带谋杀案和变蝇人那样脊背发凉的感觉，外在方面也没有什么毛骨悚然的吓人场面，所以还是中规中矩
有点空 概念也有点炒冷饭 但是还是很对味的身体恐惧！后人类依旧在玩重复的身体表演艺术 但Still shout out for Cronenberg!
有些头重脚轻。前面对各种名词理解无能几度倒带回看，故事全貌揭开后反倒期望落空，在我这是把整部影片拉低了一个档次。柯南伯格的视觉呈现依旧大胆，结尾很喜欢。
身体故真实，创造性地发展，思想的转向，人类未来的猜想
