The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 以后再也不会有这样的国产动画了。官方，不管是人间还是仙界，都混蛋。百姓可爱，但又愚昧。依靠反思的仙人和蛋解救世界的幻想。
蛋生：打倒了妖精却无法击垮体制，拯救了百姓却无法拯救师父。
真的很喜欢中国那个时期的动画片！童年的美好回忆。真的比现在的喜羊羊之类的好很多啊！
看了很多遍.喜欢.那个年轻的女狐狸精真美,声音也动人.
可惜了莉莉·柯林斯的神颜，演这种庸俗的小品，欧美演艺圈实在太卷了，大把的美人就这么虚耗美好年华～

小成本制作，全靠剧情撑起的一部片子，从头到尾都能抓住观众的眼球，没有火爆的动作场面，精华都在对白里，编剧功不可没

要说缺陷可能只是叙事上还不够绵密，像寺院的情节就有损节奏。在说资源在权力层级链条中的流动，各个叙述单元的视觉表现都很出色，尤其皇帝的形象，表达力度相比《姜子牙》这样更新的电影可见一斑，大概从这里逐渐形成中国动画怪诞甚至偏暗黑的审美趣味（比如被轧断腿、狐妖盗取天书后的乱舞）。
莉莉夫妻档作品。在相对来说的小空间里，拍摄和剪辑都比较慢，故事本身的吸引性也不够，最后堆的高潮10分钟也没什么用。我不太理解人物突然的动机，显得有些无聊吧
厉害的是袁公偷书的理念，和很多东西不是凭空被变出来的，天地之间就这么多东西，这多了，那就少了。

故事整体过渡不够平滑，抢钱的被赶鸭子上架，多少有些牵强。
