The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 也或许，老雷子拍了两个小时过了三次剧情，就是为了能让我们不带任何预设立场观赏最后的对决，是的，当你看完全片，你会不带任何立场。
虽然和《英雄》一模一样的三段结构（更早是《罗生门》）但细节填充得很漂亮，果然问题不在于重复，而在于怎样完善细节。

三个钟头过去了，
好看且美丽 但感觉主题没啥新的东西 看完没有新的认知
难以看咽，自认为集中了所有青年导演的问题，各种形式化并且站不住脚，尤其在这种宏大叙事前，实在过于老套。以及，第一次见演员能演的这么尬。
看完就很想找個四川人說說話，把剷鏟板板錘子格老子的都講個邊
精致的手工布景多了几分间离感。魔幻现实主义的《活着》或者黑色幽默的《霸王别姬》。与众不同的体验，华语电影的又一突破与创新之作。#Anthology Film Archive#
